While a man and his Sableye were searching in a few ancient ruins, he discovered an ancient writing and Scriptures on the wall. Many scientists tried to uncode it, though some words were only guessed because of the ancient language and no one speaking it anymore. Many parts of it sound confusing, though there are a lot lot answers inside this writing. The scientists believe that this note was written by a common house wife before her people left the region to flee from the dangerous Pokemon people now call Xato. Read it if you dare.
My people and I were always content. We plowed our fields with pride, always having enough food stored in the winter. We always took care of one another, surviving off the land that we claimed our own. The creatures we have as companions we've cared for since we've raised them from wild to domestic. They've only chosen to stay with us, we haven't the heart to make them. They come as they please, helping us when they can. Our village was the kindest you would have ever seen, nothing wrong with us at all.
But then one night, a light came from beyond our world and crashed near our village, somewhere in the mountains. A group of our men lead by our village leader went off to investigate, bringing along fierce creatures such as the horned dog and the black wolf. For many days, they never returned, and many villagers began to get worried about them, our sons, husbands, and family members. Then one day, only a few came fleeing back, the creatures trying to help by dragging them back. All of the horned dogs and black wolves seemed accounted for, while the men seemed not. Only my husband and two of our sons had returned. Our second had died. They said that a strange creature, even stranger then the ones we have, had landed in the mountains. It quickly began attacking them. Soon, and most suddenly, men began disappearing, though their companions fought bravely, the creature ignored them, only going for the men throwing spears, in the end, many were lost, while the others fled to safety.
A messenger was sent to our neighboring towns, telling all of the towns folk of what we found, and that they should pass it on quickly. We heard word from one of our scouter's that the creature was moving closer to our village with each passing day. Our village leader ordered that all men and boys enlist for our village platoon. There weren't very many, though plenty of our creature joined them because of loyalty and respect. I watched as my husband and sons went while my daughter and I stayed home. My youngest had brought his yellow fox with him, and I knew he was in good hands; she would do anything for him.
Plenty of days passed by before we heard anything from the army. Sadly, many died a tragic death. A general had stopped by my house a sum three or four suns after they had left. He told be he found my youngster's body lying motionless on the ground, and his yellow fox as lying with him. She had still been alive when he had seen her, though she wouldn't move. I cried days after, knowing I had lost someone dear. I prayed that my son and his companion would be taken care of when they passed on. Soon, many came back wounded, others being carried by the larger creatures. They spoke of it taking men and just absorbing them into energy. I was terrified, as was my daughter. I also heard of my husband getting taken away from me. I cried once more, though I knew I had to take care of my crucially injured son.

We now call it Xato. It means "Bringer Of Death" in our ancestral language. Many have tried to defeat this monster, and now, many have failed. We are thinking of leaving our homes, the whole area is. All homes have been destroyed in all villages. Barely anyone lives. My son has died from some sort of disease, leaving only my daughter and I. We all gather in one big area, making thousands upon thousands of us in one area. Many people have already disappeared in their sleep, which frightens me much. We bring only what we can, and only a few Pokemon are weary enough to travel with us. Others stay where they are.
Though many of us are gone, we know we can survive. One man tells of a crystal that he found before fleeing on the first battle when they first encountered Xato. It was colorful, and very mystical. He said that when he touched it, that he could feel power surge through him. Maybe this was the one thing that could finally dest-
No one knows why it stops there. Maybe she had to go and couldn't finish. Maybe she ran out of writing utensils. Or maybe, just maybe, this eerie Pokemon got her before she could finish. All the scientists and researchers know it that this strange Crystal that the women is talking about may be the key to stopping this Xato. All we need to do is find out why before it's too late.
