Personality: Sean is a kind, caring and honest man, he follows a medieval code of Chivalry, and as such treats his mentor, Lady Winona the Sky Dancer, as his queen. He is over trusting, but will help anyone out, whether they deserve it or not, but if you get him mad, may the great Pokemon save you, cause he sure won't. Especially if someone he cares about is threatened. He is very easygoing, as he was raised in the tree house city of Fortree. Another result of his upbringing is an affinity with the sky and bird Pokemon.
History: Sean Goldson was born in Fortree city to the top Gym Trainer and the local breeder, so he was expected to be great from the start. He rose to the challenge with his bird type Pokemon, and left the town with Puff the Swablu to become a great bird master, he was given a Torchic by Professor Birch, which he chose because it too was a bird. He caught his first Pokemon, which was not a bird, it was actually a Ralts, he named her Presta, and they've had a bond that he has never had with humans before or since. And she never goes into her pokeball, but travels beside him. He trained long and hard, and made a good team of mostly Bird Type Pokemon, except for Presta, and Charlotta, a Roserade that he caught as a Budew, mistaking it for a cocoon rather than a seed, but loved her too much to replace her once she evolved into Roselia and then again into her current form. He won the first 5 badges with some problems against Watson and Roxanne, due there advantages against Bird Pokemon, but he did defeat them, and he mad it to Fortree City again, but wouldn't face his mentor, the woman he owed his training to, so when he heard there was a new region he went there, hoping to make himself confident enough in his own abilities to face Lady Winona eventually.

Sean was proving himself to be a great trainer by defeating his mother, but now was the battle of their Altaria's. So Puff came onto the scene and shot towards it's mother, also hesitantly, as Sean's Father had bred using his wife's Pokemon to raise Sean's Swablu. Puff defeated her mother with a final Ice Beam. Impressing all in the room. And Winona stepped forward "Well done Sean, you have earned the right to face me, I know you'll be a great opponent, return to your house and rest, I will face you tomorrow." Sean went home with a heavy heart, and decided that with as much pain as facing his mother was, he would be even worse facing his own mentor and teacher, so left the town letting them know why. "I understand Sean" Winona had said "I just hope one day you'll be comfortable facing me, so we can have a legendary bird duel" Sean smiled warmly as he flew through the trees on Puff, looking at his home one last time before delving into the unknown.
