P.A.S.S.I.O.N.A.T.E & S.T.U.B.B.O.R.N
This young girl here throws heart and soul into everything she does. For her, it's literally all or nothing. If she doesn't like something, even torturing her probably won't get her to do what you want, cause she can be stubborn as a mule. However, if she's determined to get something done, you can bet she won't sleep until she perfects it. She's a true believer in putting everything into things you like, and then ignoring things you don't. Oh, and she doesn't like trying new things. xD However, this passion transfers over to other things too. If she firmly believes in standing up for what she believes. She will defend a loved one or thing until the death, never conceding an inch of ground. That being said, she probably has an opinion on everything - she's never standing in the middle ground. Typically, she's rather an extremist.

Ellie also has problems keeping things to herself. This being said, she absolutely fails at keeping secrets, as hard as she might try. Because she has such a fiery and passionate nature, she simply can't keep her emotions hidden. If she doesn't like you, you'll know immediately. If she does like you... well, you'll also know immediately. She readily voices her thoughts and feelings, whether people really want to hear them or not. Because of this, she often comes off as offensive or harsh in her criticisms and opinions of people, but she hates having to lie just to make others happy. Ellie is also somewhat of an idol-worshipper. You'll never catch her during a period in her life where she doesn't have someone to call her 'idol', and when she reveres someone, she practically obsesses over them. She won't tolerate to hear a single bad word against them, and will literally follow them around like a lost puppy if allowed to. You can guarantee she will never disobey anything her idol tells her, and pretty much think he or she is the best thing to ever hit the planet.

However, if you do manage to become a close friend of hers (which might be a bit difficult since she tends to be wary of strangers), you can guarantee she'll stick to you to the very end, whether you want her to or not. Most likely she'll probably half-stalk you half your life to make sure you're okay, and because of that, she's also very protective. Almost too much. You can count on her to back you up in arguments and stick to your side like glue through thick and thin. She's also very emotional though, often called a drama queen by those who know her. She frequently blows things out of proportion and takes things a lot more personally than is necessary. She tries to act tough and all, but she's very sensitive. There are quite some incidents where there have been tears in her eyes, although because of her pride, she refuses to shed them. When it comes to her idols though, she takes anything about them very personally.

P.R.I.D.E.F.U.L & R.I.G.H.T.E.O.U.S
Elienor has way too much pride for her own good. WAY TOO MUCH. Sometimes, just to be right, she will continue to argue even when she knows its a lost cause. She refuses to give up and takes criticisms (from anyone other than her idol) harshly even when she knows it's not meant like that. She will never be the first one to apologize after an argument even if she knows she was in the wrong. Because of this pride, she is a very sore loser, and will often brood and seethe over a loss for days, holding a grudge against the person. On the other hand, Ellie has a strong sense of justice and right and wrong. She is a staunch enemy of evil and misdeeds, and, because of her nature, will often be the first one to speak out. She's also quite rash, which leads her to jump into situations without really giving too much thought. Though this can be seen as bravery, some others call it stupidity.

History:

Elienor spent the early years of her life being pretty much a nobody. She wasn't ignored or mistreated or anything, she was just... average. And she didn't want to be average, she wanted to stand out. Her mother was your typical side-of-the-road Pokemon trainer with a well-rounded team that she had raised on her own. Nothing special there. Her father was a pretty well known Pokemon Breeder, but it's not like he was famous or anything. Her mother had gotten a few of the badges from the Johto region, but she gave up further dreams to become the League Champion in order to marry Ellie's father, who decided to settle down in Violet City and start a small breeding farm.

Ellie grew up in this average family and wasn't anything terribly special. She was a typical kid without any outstanding skills to speak of. When she was six years old and her younger brother, having just been born, was only one year old, she was given a young Pidgey from the breeding farm. It was... well, just like her - your average Pidgey. Surprisingly, she took an instant, deep love to the Pokemon, and it to her. The two, from the first moment they met, were inseparable. They would spend hours every day playing in the pastures and just having fun together, to the parents' pleasant surprise. When she was nine years old and her Pidgey was almost ready to become a Pidgeotto (though she didn't know that), Ellie went to her parents and stated loudly that she wished to become a Pokemon trainer. Her parents were sort of stunned that she didn't intend to inherit the farm, but they had more or less known deep down inside from the very start that she wouldn't want that. Her brother, laid-back and easy-going, would be a better choice.

Ellie spent the next year with her mother a lot, who taught her the ups and downs of being a Pokemon trainer and showed her the badges she'd won. There were only a few, but it was enough to inspire Ellie to become a trainer even more and shine one day, become famous. Her mother then took her to the Violet City gym later that year where she had gotten her first badge. At the time, Falkner was already gym leader with his spectacular flying Pokemon. Ellie watched him train with his birds, and instantly fell in love with the majestic creatures. Right then, she decided she would become a bird-user and fly all over the world with her Pokemon. For a couple days, she did some brief training with Falkner, and during that time, her Pidgey had evolved into a Pidgeotto. She decided that this would be a perfect time to begin her journey. With her mother's help, she caught a Hoothoot nearby the city, and she thinks of this first capture as the start of her journey.

For the next eight years she has fulfilled her dreams of becoming a great bird user. She captured a good number of bird Pokemon and has used them to earn every badge in the Johto region. Some battles were easy, some (against electric or ice) were very difficult and she often had rematches. In the end though, she earned all of them, and was almost going to go and challenge the Elite Four for the title of Champion when she realized that that wasn't really what she wanted. For some reason, she didn't think this was enough to just end her journey like this, so she decided to travel. Her goal? To find another gym that she could train under for a little bit while she decided what her next course of action would be. She has traversed the world on her bird Pokemon, going first to Kanto and Sinnoh. She never collected anymore badges from other regions. She was disappointed to realize that neither of these regions had a flying type gym, and so finally tried Hoenn. Much to her delight, she realized Fortree City was the place for her.

By the time she reached Fortree, her party was more or less what it is now. She has always kept her Pidgeotto (by that time a formidable Pidgeot - the star of her team), and her Noctowl. In Kanto she added a Doduo to her roster as well as a Spearow. In Sinnoh she captured a Starly, and in Hoenn, her Taillow. In Fortree City, Ellie trained for several months under the leadership of the sky dancer Winona, whom Ellie admired and practically worshipped. Convinced that Winona was the best bird user in the world, Ellie wanted to be just like her, and she saw Winona as more or less a goddess. During this time, she improved her skills greatly, and then one day the opportunity was given to her.

A new region had been discovered, and Winona had overheard this piece of news. At the time, Ellie was her best and more dedicated student, and she offered the young girl a chance to head to this new region and establish her own flying rank there. Ellie accepted and traveled with the others to what is now Xato. In the time she has spent here, she has risen her way to Elite Four rank - bird user extraordinaire. Her Pokemon have by now all fully evolved, and she often thinks about her home back in Violet City which she hasn't visited since she got the badge from Falkner years ago. She wonders how her parents are doing, and whether they know how far she's come. If only her mother could see her now - Elite Four flying type master.

THIS EXCERPT IS FROM THE TIME SHE SPENT IN FORTREE UNDER WINONA.

"Perfect perfect perfect!! As always, Rush, you're BEAUTIFUL~"
As the large eagle-like Pokemon came swooping down, it let out a warbling cry of happiness as its trainer's praise, what resembled a smile on its beaked face. It was obvious that the Pidgeot didn't at all mind the flattering she got from her adoring trainer, and Elienor was more than happy to give it. The seventeen-year-old Pidgeot look-alike (with the outfit and hair style to match - her clothes were red and brown, the tail of her shirt designed to look like a Pidgeot's tail, and her long blonde hair was dyed at the sides to resemble the bird's head-crest) clenched her fists together in success, punching the air with whoops of victory. The Pidgeot joined in on the excitement by taking to the sky above and winging around again, letting out cries of eagerness. Amber eyes shining, Elienor, or Ellie, as most called her, couldn't conceal her delight. "Wait till Winona sees how we've perfected Steel Wing! I have to make sure to show her the next time I see her~" At the thought of her idol's prospective compliments, the girl's eyes shone - she LIVED for the opportunity to earn praise from the sky-dancer herself, the reason she had traveled all the way from her home in Johto to this magnificent place and worked so hard in order to join this very gym.

"Okay, Nox, come on, let's work on that soundless Aerial Ace Winona showed us the other day!"
With a melodic "noctrrrr~", the owl Pokemon swooped silently from the trees nearby, flapping its great wings as it hovered high in the sky. The wise Noctowl had been Ellie's second Pokemon after Rush, caught as a momento of her setting out on her voyage from Violet City years ago. As the commands were given out with gusto and the owl swooped into the sky gracefully, Ellie watched with pride gleaming on her face. For years she'd dedicated herself solely to bird Pokemon, and not just any bird Pokemon. She had made sure to keep exclusively to those that were normal/flying type combinations and nothing else. She took no interest in Pokemon that her idol Winona owned such as Altaria and Skarmory, as beautiful as they were. Her team was strictly that of what she considered 'pure-bred' flying type Pokemon.

Beside her stood her faithful Fleet, her steed whenever she ran errands for her idol and the only Pokemon of hers that couldn't fly. She didn't mind that at all though, as she knew the Dodrio outpaced all her other Pokemon in speed, as well as appetite. Three heads was a lot to feed, even if it all went into one stomach. Perched on her right shoulder was Ace, her feisty little Taillow that was currently munching on a berry. Resting on her other shoulder was Dart, her aggressive Spearow, and currently nesting in a tree right behind her was Flash, a not-terribly-fast, but tough Staravia, and of course, Rush. Knowing that Winona would be seeking her out soon to check up on her progress, she was eager to please the older woman with a show of how much she'd been practicing lately (which was a LOT - in order to ensure her idol's satisfaction, Ellie had stayed up late every night with her Pokemon to perfect their abilities). She was just doing last minute touch-ups. [/size]
