Blaise Astelle Faust walked amongst the gravestones of Tomb Stone Quarry. A dark blue cape was tied at her throat and the hood covered her face. The cape blew against her back as she strode forward from the shadows to stand in front of a mass of tombstones. Her golden eyes were wary and she glanced to and fro. Holding her left hand out, palm up, she produced a ball of blue lightning that illuminated the area.
"Hello, Sister" murmured a dark voice. A young man stepped out from behind the mound. His hair was long, blue, and tied back in a ponytail. He had glimmering golden eyes and an attractive face. He wore a dress shirt and slacks with a black jacket slung over his shoulders. A cross was fastened at his throat, and he carried a book under his arm.
"Hello, Theo." Blaise muttered, she wasn't particularly happy to see her brother. "You mind telling me why the hell you called me here at midnight?" A touch of annoyance entered her voice as she strode over to meet him.
"All in good time, dearest Blaise." Theo promised, smirking slightly. He was about to show his sister what he had discovered when they both heard a noise from behind one of the tombstones.
"Who's there?!" Called Blaise, her eyes flashed angrily.
(Someone enter. She won't kill you, I promise.)

Well Jacob would be lying if he said he wasn't freaked out. You just happen to be walking in a quarry at midnight, which was odd and scary by itself. When out of no where you hear two people talking. Of course once Jacob got a glimpse of them,it wasn't hard to understand why he made a noise. Normally he prided himself on being quite sneaky. It was the fact that these two people were extremly attractive was what made him cause a noise.
"And now they'll probably knock me out just because I can't control my actions....great"Jacob thought loud once the girl called out into the darkness. 'No use hiding, might as well answer them' he thought before walking towards them. One would think that the shaggy hair that hung in his face would cause him to trip.He had gotten used to it to the point he didn't really have to worry about tripping I suppose. The black trench coat fluttered in the breeze around him.The tight black skinny jeans seemed to blend with it. His red and black long-sleeved shirt covered him from the elements.
He studied them for a moment before trying the friendly approach.Maybe they wouldn't hurt him if he played his cards right. "Hello there, sorry for interupting anything you two were discussing,it's just that Absol and Weavil haven't had a good moonlit stroll in a while"he stated, pointing to the two pokemon that looked at the two figures with cautious eyes.

Blaise's eyes took in the sight before her. This wasn't a threat; the intruder was a kid...well, boy. He looked a year or so older than her, so he would be younger than Theo; somewhere between them. He was cute...in a mildly disturbing way. His clothes were so dark, and she didn't like not being able to see his eyes.
Unlike his sibling, Theo wasn't as accepting of the newcomer. He wanted no interruptions, and he couldn't have anyone besides his sister hearing his plan. Enraged he strode forward and grabbed the younger boy by the collar of his shirt, lifting him off the ground. "Get. Out. Now." he snarled though clenched teeth, his golden eyes were like molten flames and he was in full-attack mode. If his sister hadn't interceded he may very well have killed the boy. At the very least he would have inflicted severe damage.
Blaise was horrified as she watched her brother attack the trainer "THEO!!" she cried rushing forward "Stop it!! He didn't do anything. He doesn't even know what WE are doing! Put him down!! Theo please!" Her voice was practically hysteric as she yanked on her brother's sleeve, desperately trying to get him to release the boy. Screaming wasn't working. The boy looked frightened as his oxygen supply was slowly cut off by Theo's fists.
"Theo." She whispered in a darker, more controlled voice. "Put. Him. Down. NOW!!" When her brother didn't comply she jerked the glove off her right hand, and grabbed her brother's wrist. A navy blue blast of electricity shot from her hand into his body, but she was careful to not shock the blonde boy. Theo's body jerked as the current of lightning was completed, smelling slightly of charred hair and flesh he staggered back. "I'm sorry" she whispered. Turning she caught the trainer before he hit the ground.
Supporting the possibly stunned boy with her hands she shook him slightly. "Come on," she whispered urgently, "We have to get out of here; there's no telling what Theo will do now. We have to hurry." With that she pulled his arm over her shoulder and led him away from the tombstones.

He watched them with his own cautious eyes, waiting for their answers. He was ready to turn and run,but held his ground. His own pokemon seemed uneasy and ready to attack at any movement that could be seen as threatening. He backed up as the older boy came forward, but hit something that gave the boy just a moment to grab him. The pokemon almost pounced before they noticed how their trainer locked eyes with the older boy and seemed to stare into them with a fierce look.
'I dare yo...' he thought angrily before the air seemed to leave his body. He punched the boy once, but it seemed to have no effect. Absol bit the man once, hoping to cause some damage as Weavile slashed somewhere on his lower legs.He didn't know why,but after the girl yelled at the boy,who apparently was called Theo, the man let go. He had felt a tiny shock, but thought it was simply something that happened when you chocked.
He felt someone catch him and he tilted his head up slowly, his breathing ragged. The girl was looking down at him and all he could think of was a raven. Sleek and clever, that was his first impression of the girl. His own pokemon looked at her with awe, seeing as how they saw what she did. They followed after the pair, feeling depressed. They were unable to protect their master. Weavile watched with a bit of jealousy in her eyes. She never did like girls near her master
He pushed some of the blonde hair out of his eyes,to get a good look at the girl. His chocolate brown eyes watched as she walked with him leaning on her and after a few seconds he lifted himself up. "Thank you for saving me,but I think you should get away from here. He'll probably only want to hurt me now. I'm a pretty fast runner and even though I don't want to use my pokemon to attack a human,I might have too" he explained with an unhappy look in his eyes. He didn't like seeing anyone hurt.

Blaise stared at the boy. Was he fricking psychotic?? She had just saved his life and now he wanted HER to get away. Anger and frustration overcame her body and before she could even think she moved. Her hand snagged the boy's arms and in a single fluid motion she pushed him to the ground. Before he could react she pinned him belly-up, so his face was only an inch or so away from hers. Even though she was small and light she knew how to use her body-weight to her advantage. Hooking her feet through the boy's legs she held him in place with her body.
Staring down at his surprised face she fought the urge to scream. "What is the matter with you??" she asked. Receiving no answer she reconsidered how her actions must have looked; she had just tackled and pinned someone who she had saved a few minutes prior; talk about fickle. "Look.." she whispered, her breathing uneven, "Let me make a few things clear to you. First of all, that guy back there is my BROTHER, okay. And if anyone is going to fight him it will be me. I owe him that much. Secondly you have no clue who you are even dealing with. Theo is practically insane; he's irrational and easily provoked and extremely dangerous. You are NOT fighting him. Not to mention you're already hurt. When I blasted my brother there's a chance you received some of the electrical charge. You need to be checked out at a hospital for crying out loud." Honestly. The last thing she needed was some knight-in-shining-armor-save-the-princess-chivalry. She was stronger than him; she KNEW she was stronger than him. Although she had to consider she was yelling about electricuiting someone with just her hand...that probably sounded weird.
Pausing for breath she glanced down at the trainer. He looked...perplexed for certain. Which was completely understandable. "I'm sorry," she muttered, pulling back ever-so-slightly. "But I am not letting you get up if it means you're going to try and get rid of me. You have to listen to me; I'm the only person who can handle Theo. I grew up with him....and besides. Everyone knows the Lightning Witch can take care of herself."Suddenly she felt her cheeks become wet; she was crying. "What the--" she whispered, freeing one of the trainer's hands to hesitantly touch her cheek.

He wasn't really paying attention to her actions. His mind had wandered over to his sister. When was the last time he had talked to her. She was probably frustrated with him for not sending any word his way. He could tell no matter what she couldn't hate him. One,she wasn't the type to hate others without knowing why they did something. Jacob had a pretty good reason for being gone. Second, she was his best friend and vice versa. No matter what happened nothing would break that bond.
Maybe he should have been paying attention. He almost punched the being that crashed into him if he hadn't seen who it was. The raven had managed to lock him in place. Until he learned her name, that's what he would call her. He ignored the fact that they were placed in a bit of a compromising position. There was absolutely no reason for her to push him. His feelings of attraction were lessening by the minute....well he liked to think they were. He was a guy and he had to say she looked very pretty close up. His mouth curled up a little as she talked.
He nodded along as she talked. Once she finished he smiled at her serenely. "Actually I'd like to ask what's the matter with you. Here I am trying to help you get away so you can ambush him or something of the likes. It's obvious you have a bone to pick with him.I never said I would fight him, just lure him away. Please don't try to control my actions miss. You seem nice and I would like to get to know you.....and you did what?" Jacob said in a calm leveled voice, his voice rising a little higher at the end. His true nature was showing through. Jacob couldn't act calm and cool even if someone programmed him that way. He was a naturally happy and friendly person,no matter how he may look.
He didn't know if it was because of him or not.For some reason,he had the feeling it wasn't because of him. His mind wandered back to what he said and he lingered on something. He tried to wiggle away from his grasp, but it didn't work. He couldn't help but wonder where his pokemon had wandered off to. He didn't worry much though, they'd be near-by if he really needed them."Actually, may I ask you a question?Hopefully your not mad at me or anything" he stated with a small smile.

Blaise pressed her palm against her eye, trying to stop the tears from slipping out. What on earth was happening to her? She had completely lost her edge! She never showed her real emotions, that was a talent she prided herself with. But every time she was near her brother old feelings were stirred: a longing for his affection and approval, pain, frustration, betrayal, even hate. Theo had ruined her life; it was because of him that she was a human Double A battery. Because of him she felt like she couldn't really trust anyone. Because of him that she always had be in control, or else risk hurting someone excessively with a simple touch. She silently cursed her crying and fought to regain order, she didn't want the boy thinking she was bipolar or something. She lost that battle.
A silent sob slipped from her lips as she released the boy's other wrist. She covered her mouth with one hand, she couldn't believe what she was doing!! This was nothing like her at all. She wiped at her eyes, but it made no difference. Her normally gold eyes had shifted to amber; that was a clear sign that she was upset. She bit her lower lip in a feeble attempt to maintain the ability to not sob; it worked.
Staring at the boy laying underneath her she leaned back and sat up, so instead of laying on him she was simply sitting on his lap, more or less. She knew he could sit up if he wanted to. She brushed the tears off her cheeks and glanced at him, shame-faced. She couldn't believe herself. She wouldn't blame the boy if he got up now and ran as far away as he could; it would be an appropriate reacition to her crazy mood-swing.
Suddenly she realized he was talking to her. She had been listening the entire time, hearing and registering everything he said, but it had been a subconcious effort. Finally she registered what he was saying. She had made a complete mistake!! He hadn't wanted to fight Theo at all. Now she felt stupid on top of insane.
She swallowed hard and tried pathetically to force a smile; it came out looking terrible. Her eyes were already turning red from the tears, and she knew she would look like an emotional wreck for the next half-hour plus. Great. Just freaking great. She stared at him, her face alternating colors of pale cream and flushed pink from her crying. "I'm.....so sorry......" she whispered weakly, trying to not scare the trainer any more than she had already succeeded in doing. "I didn't mean to..well...leap to conclusions....I just...get really....I don't know....jumpy....when my brother is around. Jumpy...and maybe mildly insane..I'm not really sure." She pushed her bangs back off her forehead, running her fingers through her hair. "And I'm not mad.....at least...not at you" She smiled weakly, feeling like a complete idiot. She was going nuts, absolutely nuts..... "And sure, you can ask me anything. Go ahead. I promise I won't bite."

A guy's worst fear?Seeing a girl cry.Especially the pretty ones. They just don't know how to cope as many people have learned. That's why Jacob felt totally helpless. Sure he had learned how to help stop his sister's tears, but they slipped out because of trivial things. Jacob had no idea why the raven above him was crying. His words hadn't been that harsh, and they sure as hell hadn't been said in a harsh voice. No matter how hard Jacob tried,he couldn't produce a voice like that.
At least she understood and was apologizing. Another thing that ticked guys off was when they made you feel guilty after they cry. Jacob was sympathetic, seeing as how his sister had made him that way. His family pretty much helped shaped his personality. Back to the story though. Most girls knew how to milk a guy's guilt and turn it against them.A scary ability I must say.
Meanwhile,as Jacob listened to the girl above him, his pokemon sat in front of a tomb a little ways away, watching them carefully. Sure the girl had saved him,but what if it was a trick made up to kill Jacob. That was basically all Weavile could say because, she was jealous. She got this way whenever a girl got near him. Boys weren't a big problem although they could if their master started becoming interested in them in a way most boys shouldn't be interested. The small tomboyish pokemon hmpp'd before turning to Absol who could only watch with a slight grin.
Jacob could only nod. "I've actually got someone in my family like that. She's my older sister and she makes everyone feel insane and jumpy.Well only mildly. She just cuts you down with words." he explained. He listened to the rest of her apology and smiled. At least she wasn't mad at him.Since he had the okay for his question,he let it out. "What did you mean by blasted him?Oh yeah, could you sit up up a bit or something. I'm finding it a bit hard to breath" he explained, a faint blush staining his cheeks. There was really no way to see it in the dark of the night though.

Listening to the trainer, Blaise couldn’t help but grin. Of course: of all the things in the world to ask, he would obviously be concerned with the lightning. But truly he didn’t even have a clue what she had done. If it hadn’t been for the raw excess electricity in her blood, she might not have been able to save him. She lacked the brute physical strength to challenge Theo; lightning was her ace in the hole. Ironically though, she owed that trait to him. It was because of his stupid plan that she had been electrocuted by a lightning bolt…and had survived. And while she hated her brother for betraying her, she was grateful for her gift.
Realizing the second part of the trainer’s request she snapped back to attention and put her hands on the ground on either side of his head just above his shoulders, pushing herself up. In a single swift motion she spun her torso up and over her hips, ending up so she was sitting with her knees near her chest, on the ground next to the boy who was still sprawled out on his back. “Sorry about the suffocating thing. I keep forgetting that I’m heavier than I look.” She apologized softly, turning her head to smile down at him. This time though, the smile was real.
Resting her right arm across her knees she held her left hand up and flexed it several times. It was an action that she used to test the amount of lightning flowing in her veins. Determining that it was a controllable gauge she decided to answer his question, in the best way she knew how. “What I meant by ‘blasted,’ would be more accurately referred to as ‘electrocuted.’ I electrocuted my brother; I probably used five hundred volts or so…I really don’t know how to keep track…..” Realizing that her answer was even more confusing than the initial statement, she decided to try something else. “Here,” she commanded gently, “I'll show you; give me your hand.” when the trainer hesitantly held his hand out, she turned and took it in her right hand.
Hooking her dainty fingers around his wrist she changed its position, so it looked like he was expecting a high-five. Removing the glove off her left hand (btw, she put the one back on her right hand.) she carefully touched the pads of her fingertips against his. “This might sting a bit,” she warned softly. With that she located the electrical charge coursing through her bloodstream. Shutting her eyes she guided it down her arm, into her hand, and out of the capillaries into the flesh of her fingertips, pushing it until it collided with the trainer’s skin. Blaise didn’t feel a thing, but she knew the boy would be receiving a slight jolt of pain in his hand. It would be similar to a static shock; she had held back immensely to make sure she didn’t hurt him. Besides, she had no desire for his poke’mon to try and maul her. “Well..?” she asked softly, not removing her hand from his, “Do you understand now?”
