Just A Puppet on A Lonely String[OPEN]

[Ramen[The Pirate]]

A young figure lay in the sand, letting the warmth of it touch his skin. His brown eyes stared up into the sky, watching all the clouds go by. They seemed like melting chocolate, seeing as how a small tear came out of his eye. Of course he wasn't crying. Jake always did his best to not seem like a sissy. Many of the people who met him for only a short while thought of him as one. He didn't think it would be too wise to give them another reason to laugh at him. He didn’t care what people thought of him, but if they thought they could walk all over him, they were deeply mistaken.

His body was clad in a pair of swimming trunks. He was planning on going swimming, even if he was on a dare. He just had to spend 2 hours out here without his video camera. To anyone else in the world it seemed like a piece of cake. For the people who knew this trainer, they knew they had created a dare he would probably never be able to complete. Jacob loved his camera.He wasn’t even supposed to be here. His friend had dared him. If he chickened out, he would have to give her his camera for a week. He couldn't even be separated with it for a day. A sad case really.

His friends were so mean at times. The girl ones and the guy ones. See Jacob is a boy who can get along with everyone. He was good at it. He just knew how to get on certain peoples good sides, although he some people would judge him by the way he acted and looked before they got to know him. Jacob didn’t bother with them, if they wanted to judge he would let them. Girls were easier to get along with for him. At first it was easy to get along with guys as long as they realized he was a guy. He did look like a girl,what with his small obsession with girl clothing and a tiara. Either way, Jacob was ready to do something. He lifted himself off his towel and moved a little closer to the cascading waves.

He was really a kid at heart. He had brought along a pale, shovel, anything to build a sand castle with. He shaped up the first tower and wasn’t really watching his things. He believed Roserade would watch it for him. What he didn't know was that the pokemon was sitting in the shade with Misdreavus and Mawile.The other pokemon that made up his party were trying to get used to the water.

His shovel start floating along in farther and farther away from Jake. He was quite oblivious until his hand started searching for the orange tool. His eyes widened a bit and he started searching around him. He got up and quickly put up the rest of his stuff. He called absol to him and told Weavile to watch the rest of his things while he searched. He didn't need to lose his shovel and some kid keep him away from his castle.

[Argent/Angel]

Angel was walking along the beach, her ivory skin covered by a black sundress with unusually long sleeves. She twirled the handle of her black umbrella in her hands, resting it over her shoulder to block the sunlight. Her crimson eyes were hidden behind a pair of dark shades. Her white hair was hanging down partially, half was braided into two small braids that framed her face. The rest hung down. Her bare pale feet splashed where the water was up to her calves.

She was taking a break from the monotone of her life. She was so sick and tired of humanity. It was always the same: recruit new members for taking over the world, hypnotize them, whether or not they resisted her charm, make plans, give orders. And of course; keep her life and plans a secret from the world. Whoop-dee-frickin-doo. She knew if she didn't take a vacation she would have to fight the urge to kill someone. Well, more-so than usual, anyway.

Suddenly she felt something bump into her leg. Staring down she saw a shovel floating aimlessly in the water. "Huh?..." she muttered. Bending over she plucked the shovel from the water. Holding it up away from her body with her index finger and thumb she looked around for a small child, she was disgusted. She figured that only a child would even consider bringing something so juvenile to a public area. Seeing no one who fit the character she held onto the shovel and proceeded down the beach. She hoped whoever had lost it would claim it quickly. She didn't want it for a souvenir, now or ever.

[Raina]

Ryan came up behind Angel, or as he called her, Mistress DarkHeart. He was a little taller than her but he still had respect for her. "Lady Angel," he pointed to the boy that seamed to be looking for something. "Maybe it's his?" he asked and took the shovel from her so she didn't get her pale hands dirty holding it. Ryan didn't know his past. All he knew was Angel had saved him and taken care of him, nursing his injuries back to health. He owed her his life.

He ran his hand through his brown hair and messed it up more if even possible and called the boy. "hey! You! You looking for this?" He asked and waited fo the boy's reply.

[Argent/Angel]

While the boy stared at them with a blank face Angel studied his features. He was cute, but she wasn't the kind to be taken under by any boy's appearance or charm. She treated boys like a five year old girl would treat dolls: She collected them, played with them until they had served their purpose, then tossed them aside when they broke a limb, their hair lost it's shine, or a better model became available. It was just what she did, she couldn't help her lack of affection. But then there was Ryan.

Absently she watched his head turn slightly as several girls walked by in each direction, she knew why. It wasn't because the girls were attractive, which they were. It was because each of the girls was a blonde, just like Raina. He was still looking for her. She sighed softly; despite her greatest efforts he refused to give up on the hope of finding his sister. She found it beyond annoying.

Reaching up she plucked the shovel from his hand, still holding it away from her body. She figured that he may have startled the boy, being six foot four gave him that effect. She, on the other hand, was only five foot three. Yes, she was short, not to mention she looked like a thirteen year old. Walking up to the boy she held the shovel out to him. "I don't suppose this belongs to you?" she questioned with a smile. She had half a mind to make this boy one of her minions. I mean....cohorts.
