Why was she here again?Oh yeah,because she was a curious girl by nature. It wasn't her fault. The gods molded most people with that certain personality trait. Tabatha never really complained about it. She liked learning about new things. As long as she had someone to accompany her. It was just the way she was.

Her outfit,oddly enough, made her stand out in the this small town. It was probably safe to say they had never seen a girl like her. She was eye-catching to say the least. In her old home she would probably be apart of the crowd. It was the giant theater of the world.You know that's what everyone wanted to call Cerulean City. The place was built for whining little actors and brooding artists. Anybody could get a break there if they tried.Tabatha had been willing to try and it had led her to this nice little area in Xato.

Nor could anyone deny that Tabatha seemed to be a mix of the whole 'Whiny actor and brooding artist' label most of the people had here. Today her hair was combed into that emo look that she loved. You know where it seems to frame her face. Her bangs were slanted perfectly,falling into her eyes just so. You could tell she spent most of her morning on her hair. Nothing could look that good naturaly.

Today she doned a large white yellow shirt dress as she liked to call them. Her leggings were black and as stated before she was wearing her signature red High-Tops. They were her favorites,obtained on a snowy christmas day.Let's not dwell on the past though.Smear stared at the water as her eevee played with a few of the other pokemon.The small pokemon knew the paint in his tail would mess the water up,but he was happy enough sitting next to his trainer.She had enough sense not to let Crane out.Those two could cause alot of trouble together.

Her large brown eyes scanned the area.She was doing her job thankfully. Her small little sign was set up right next to the bench she had deemed as her own. Hopefully the staff wouldn't be angry.What was she doing you asked? She was waiting for someone to be willing enough to get a picture painted. Or drawn but that cost a dollar extra since it took more time. Whenever Tabatha wasn't training her pokemon this was what she was doing. A nice routine I would say.

Rin was tired of waiting in his gym. He waited like so much for a trainer to come and challenge him. Even his pokemon were getting bored in the water of the gym! He decided to go to the Mystic Pool for some relaxation! He put all his pokemon in his pokeballs except for Vaporeon. They came out of the gym and started off to the pool.

The Staff members let him come in anytime because he was the gym leader. He came here a lot and they always kept his spot reserved. Rin Sat down and pushed the middle button of all his pokeballs and released all of his pokemon. He saw bubbles being made by squirtle and Starmie was spinning her back star to make water get all over lapras! They loved to play and they never wanted to leave. Vaporeon just sat beside him and snuggled up to him. She adored him.


All of a sudden Vaporion got up and ran to the water. She sank under the water and Rin could just see the tiny bit of shin go towards a girl. The problem was that the girl had an evee, and every time Vaporeon saw an Evee she would freak and go and hug and lick it. She would scare every trainer away from him.


he was too late. She jumped out of the water and splashed the trainer and bounded up to the evee and started to love it! She was Bouncing around and licking the poor thing. He quickly got up leaving his other pokemon behind and went up to the girl. "I am so sorry I didn't mean for this to happen! i just... she... ugh! Vaporeon! Sorry every time she sees an evee or evolve form of evee she goes frantic and insane!" Rin turned around to see that every single on of his pokemon was gone! "NO! oh great now all of my pokemon are gone!" He hit his head on his hand!

Why was she even here in the first place?Well she wasn't an extremely experienced trainer. She had already gotten her first two badges and was more than ready to go for her third.It was just...she didn't have too many types that were strong against water. She had four that could do well,but she didn't want to send them into uncharted territories. She planned on going to catch a water pokemon and toughen up her own pokemon before challenging the gym leader.

She smiled at a few of the people as they passed by. In her mind she couldn't help,but dissect them. 'She's cute,but her eyes keep on moving quickly everywhere,suggesting that she has something to hide. He's got his head down as well so he must be in on it.' she thought,her eyes trained on the couple. She was a good people reader that much was for sure.

She didn't think much of the small splashing noises near her. What did you expect the pokemon too do,sit there and talk quietly amongst each other?She was thoroughly mistaken when she felt the water splash all over her.She was annoyed to say the least.She turned around and witnessed a Vaporeon lick and 'glomp' Eve. She would have giggled at the scene if her shirt and leggings weren't doused in cold water.Her high-tops thankfully had been pardoned.

A boy walked up to her and his mouth was a whirlwind of words. Tabatha was ready to snap at him,even if he was kind of cute. 'He looks kind of familiar...but that doesn't matter!'she quickly thought to herself.She shivered a bit,but quickly realized that she could just bring Pixie out. The Ninetails was a personal heater,but she'd have to do it after she left this area. Pixie wouldn't be too happy near water.

She watched as he turned around and freaked out about his now missing pokemon. Her anger quickly went to sympathy.Sure she was wet,but he lost some of his pokemon.What seemed worse to you?"Hey,don't worry about your Vaporeon,I think it's cute that it bonds well with it's extended family should I say. Eve doesn't really mind getting gushed about anymore. Anyways,would you like some help looking for them.They can't be too far can they?" she questioned,her voice calm with a french accent to it. She didn't mind lending him help.It seemed like he would need it.

"UGH! ever time i come here they do this! One of them runs off then I run after that pokemon and then the rest run off for the fun of it, just to make me mad. i guess I will have to look a lot. They think they are being funny. By the way, my name is Rin Chapmon. I am the gym leader of this town. I always bring my pokemon out so they can swim here instead of the gym waters."


He was kind of embarrassed, well really embarrassed. First off his vaporoen jumped on her evee getting her and her evee wet. But now all of his pokemon are gone and she was probably gonna help find them, which would make him even more embarrassed. A gym leader with all very strong pokemon asking a trainer for help. And all of his pokemon acted like kids. They wanted to have fun all the time. His dewgong was probably pretending to be a Dewgong statue. That would take forever to find him. There were thousands of them and they all looked real. He could stand there for days.

Squirtle would probably be hiding in his shell pretending to be a rock. He was good at finding the best place where there were lots of rocks. Lapras would probably be soo easy but to catch her on the other hand.... that would be difficult. Politoed would be under the lily pads. Waiting and laughing at rin while he would be looking for the others. Finally Starmie would be hiding in a tree which would be hard to find because there are billions of trees by the Mystic pool.


They all had there hiding places but getting to them was the hard part! "Um would you help me find them. I know this place off by heart and I know where they usually go but two people looking is better then one. And I have a map for you if you help. It will show you where everything is in here. It is really big but they usually hide in the same spots. So what do you say?" He stared into her lovely eyes. He smiled at her and gave her a charm. He usually got girls to help him. Most would because he was so damn hot!

Well of course she was surprised. Then again,maybe that's why the boy seemed so familiar to her. He was the gym leader of this town. Most trainers had seen all the pictures of the leaders in every town. Tabatha had. It was when she was younger and still living in Cerulean city. She and her brother were lazing around like they normally did,when Jacob pulled out a poster with a picture of around ten people on it. Tabatha thought they all seemed very strong and wise. Her brother told her that these were the gym leaders. Tabatha couldn't keep her eyes off that picture for a while. Most of those people weren't gym ledaers anymore and that saddened her until she found an updated poster of the gym leaders. It had Raina,Rin,and many others on it. She wasn't as interested though. The gym leaders on her brothers poster were the ones he got too battle and she wanted to show her brother how strong she was as well.

"Nice to meet you Rin,I'm Tabatha Hunter.A wandering artist is my second occupation,my first being a trainer.Of course I'll help" she told him with a grin. It wasn't the charm that convinced her,it was the fact that she wouldn't turn away from a fellow trainer. She watched as Eve simply looked at the Vaporeon with an amused look on her face. The eevee nuzzled her head onto it's chest before jumping out and landing next to Smear. They both sat there watching the vaporeon with curious faces. They had never seen that kind of eevelotion. SAhe debated between bringing out Crane or not,seeing as how the cranidos would get her smeargle and eevee to run off and play pranks on her. She decided to risk and soon Crane,Sable,and her Zangoose stood beside her.

"I think the map would help me quite alot.Any certain one you want me to look for" she asked,trying to organize the search party to th best of her capabilities. She looked him over once more and realized why girls probaly liked him so much. He had a cute face,almost baby-like.It seemed quite innocent as well. Who wouldn't like a boy who looked like him?She was getting a more dry,but wouldn't bring Ninetails out.The pokemon would be extremly angry if Tabatha brought her neat water. A river or pond was fine,but an indoor place with water would earn Tabatha a disobedient pokemon I assure you.

[Blaise]

Blaise walked along the edge of the Mystic Pool, her hair floated around her waist and she'd removed her gloves and boots. Barefoot she danced and twirled on the brink of the pool. For once her face wasn't set in stone or twisted with sarcasm. Her eyes shone gold and she was humming 'Dust in the Wind' as she spun. Her rippling skirt flew up more than once during her dance. Her Jolteon, Rashel, trailed behind her, doing a dance of her own. The Mystic Pool was one of the few places where she felt completely at peace. Or at least as close as she could manage. Twirling for a final time she promptly sat down and dipped her toes into the water.

Normally Blaise avoided large bodies of water because she could have strange attacks due to the electricity in her blood. The Mystic Pool however didn't have any affect on her. Pulling out her poke'balls she released the rest of her team. Simka and Torren paced along the water's edge before finally dipping in. Raily leaped in without hesitation, and she was quickly followed by Quinn. Rashel dove in, her spiky fur softening in the water. Kourey didn't even bother getting in the water, instead he lay down at his mistress's side, his huge head pressed against her leg.
Blaise smirked slightly. There were several people at the pool, yet none of them recognized her for who she truly was; the gym leader of the Hibana City Gym. Of course she wasn't opposed to the feeling of being an anonymous someone in the crowd, but it was still somewhat nice to be known as the 'Lightning Witch' or 'Blitzterra' as some people called her.

Suddenly Raily poked a rock and a head popped out! With a startled shriek Blaise backpedaled. Kourey rose with a snarl, his lips pulled back to reveal his huge fangs. Her other poke'mon all crowded around the terrified head, Kourey was intimidating beyond all means. "Down Kourey," Blaise whispered firmly. Crawling forward she realized that the blue quivering figure was a Squirtle. "Poor thing; you must be scared senseless." Laying on her stomach she stretched her arm out over the water and reached for the frightened poke'mon. "It's okay, I'm friendly. Promise." she coaxed gently, letting the Squirtle sniff her fingertips before petting it's damp silky head. Reaching out with her other arm she picked the Squirtle up from where it had been nestled amongst a pile of rocks. No longer feeling threatened, Kourey tilted his head up and sniffed the small poke'mon in investigation, he purred softly in approval. With a small cry of fear the Squirtle threw itself into Blaise's arms, curling up against her chest within it's shell, and completely soaking her front. Oh great. she thought flatly. But instead of aiming her annoyance at the poke'mon shaking in her arms she instead hugged it reassuredly and pet Kourey on the head gently. "That's just Kourey. He won't hurt you. He thought you were an enemy earlier, and was defending me. That's his job." she explained. Pulling her poke'balls out one handed she recalled all her poke'mon except Kourey. She felt safer when he was released.

Holding the Squirtle, who's head and limbs were now visable, at arms length she looked it over. "Well, you certainly belong to someone. Come on, let's go find your owner." Hugging the Squirtle to her chest she walked towards a more crowded area by the pool, hoping someone would recognize the poke'mon in her arms. Kourey padded along behind her.

He fidiled with the one special looking pokeball attached to his belt. No one knew what pokemon it beholded but if a trainer was lucky he would battle using that pokemon. He looked at Tabatha and then decided which pokemon would be the best one for her to find. Sine he was use to looking for them he knew which ones were easier to look for. He knew Lapras would be the easiesst, then wouls come polytoed, then would be starmie, then would be dewgong, and the hardest would be squirtle. "Okay you should look for Lapras, polytoed, and maybe starmie. If you can not find it then I will help look. I will look for Dewgong and Squirtle. I will look for Starmie i you cant find it.


He headed off to look for dewgong and Squirtle. It would take him a long time bcause of how many rocks that look like Squirtle's shell and Dewgong can stand still for days and he looks identical to the ststues! They had a lot of statues representing his pokemon. It was embarrassing to know that everyone in town loved him. Some fans made a website on him. They have a guess every month on what pokemon he has in his water looking pokeball. Everytime he walked into the main lobby of his gym he would see a whole bunchof fan mail. Some girls sent pictures of themselves and a lock of their hair. He serioulsy was getting scared of how people were finding so much about him. He would get fan phone calls on his cell phone, that creeped him out because he only gives his number to family and friends.

He started to go towards the field of Dewgons but then he saw it. It was a new statue, but this time it was not of a pokemon, It was of him! He almost fainted when he saw it. He now officially hated all the attention he was getting. It was ok to have a few fans but to have a whole statue of him! HE wa sready to pack his bags and go on a trip around Xato. He turned around and stormed away. He grabbed his one pokeball wondering if he should let it out. Rin wanted to show the world but then they would get even more in love with him. The creepy part is a guy came uo and kissed him last year and winked at him. Rin got so mad because first of all he isn't gay and second of all he didn't even know the guy and thirdly he wanted to kiss this girl he saw but because she saw him get kissed by a bot she though he was gay.


The Dewgong field had thousands of dewging statues which were paintd perfectly like a regular Dewging. It would take him hours to find the real one. He looked around to see if one would wink but his Dewgong always chose the right time to blink. When Rin would be looking at a different statue Dewging would blink or take a breath. He didnt hvae time for this so he headed towards the rocks. On his way he noticed a girl. SHe was very oretty with blue hair. It looked like she could be the water gym leader. The thing that showed that she wasn't was the blue was too dark for water. He hoped she wouldn't go balistic like most fans. She could probably guess he was the gym leader because of the huge statue that was being built. It was so tall that you could see it at all angles of Mystic Pool.


As he saw how big it was he blushed. He didnt want to be public, he wanted to be able to walk the streets of his hometown without girls screaming at him. He started to walk towards the girl when he saw a happy squirtle staring at him. He was in her arms and he looked comfortable with her. That was pretty usual for him because Squirtle trusted everyone, that was a bad thing! He started to squirm in her arms and ran towards Rin. He jumped up into his arms and started to like him. Rin was happy to see him but was mad at him. "Sorry did he bother you? He has a habbit of running away. Same with all my pokemon. I always lose them and they all know the best places to hid. They have been here their whole lives so I don Blame them."

He looked at her beautiful face. She was So pretty, He wanted to kiss her right there. But that would be so uncomfortable for her. He also didnt know her and he didnt want to start a relationship unless he really liked the person. He didnt want to just go and kiss every girl and make them all in love with him. He smiled at her and said "Hello my name is Rin and I am the gym leader of this town! It is a pleasure to meet you!" He stuck out his hand towards her.

Blaise had been wandering for several minutes. Squirtle was content in her arms, and no one seemed to be questioning why she had a legendary poke'mon following her around. Good; she hated people who were too probing and asked too much about her, they were a pain.

Suddenly she felt Squirtle become restless. "Ah..." she whispered as he squirmed in her arms. Suddenly he leapt out of her arms and ran towards a boy with blonde hair and sea-blue eyes. The boy looked around her age, maybe a year younger. He was cute, enough so to notice anyway. Bearing a smile Blaise walked forward to meet the mystery trainer.

Noticing the boy blush she slowed her pace. What had she done this time? Normally it took at least a slight effort to make boys flustered. Apparently that wasn't the case with this boy. He looked slightly familiar. Why? Then she noticed his stare; it wasn't aimed solely at her - he was staring at the huge statue of...HIMSELF?? Suddenly she realized exactly who she was dealing with; the gym leader of Sapphire City. That was too funny, she couldn't help but beam. Poor boy: talk about your over-zealous fans. But he didn't know who she was, at least she didn't think he did. That made things more interesting.

She grinned slightly as the poor kid attempted to explain how his Squirtle had ended up in her arms. Or at least, previously in her arms. Flashing him a heart-breaker's smile she took his hand and shook it slightly. Still holding on she tucked her hair behind her ear and beamed at him, her face innocent and full of warmth. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Rin." she answered in her sing-song voice. "I'm Blaise. Blaise Faust, electrical poke'mon extrordinaire. But you can just call me Blitzterra. Or just Blitzti, if you like." Giggling sweetly she watched the boy's expression when he heard her voice. She was used to boys loosing their minds when she was around. It was typical. And also very fun to witness.

Another reason as to why she took so long in towns was because she had to see every sight. She was an artist and she couldn't stop her talent.She loved perfecting it at every chance she got. That's why she had to snoop around everywhere in the town,leaving no place untouched. Sure she lost valuable time for training her pokemon,but she was able to find some of the most beautiful places to paint.Sometimes she even found some rare pokemon to attempt a drawing for.

She gave a wave as she walked off in the direction of the small area of water where Lapras would probably be. It was indicated on the map. Her soft russet eyes watched every movement,hoping to at least catch sight of either starmie or Politoed.Her shirt no longer stuck to her skin and swayed at the slightest breeze. She shivered slightly,but resisted the urge for her pokemon. She didn't want to cause her pokemon discomfort for her own gain.Sable looked up at her with curious eyes and stuck close to her. The three musketeers simply ran off among the trees,ready to play a game of hide and go seek while their friend did whatever she did.

The shell of the large pokemon soon came within sight. She smiled at the sight of the pokemon swimming without a care in the world. She stood at the edge with her own pokemon,simply admiring it's beauty. She sighed before sticking her hand in her bag and pulling out two pokeblocks. The two pokemon that remained looked at her with questioning eyes before wondering why their friend would give them food for no reason. Tabatha whistled softly,hoping to get the Lapras' attention without scaring it. The pokemon looked over at the sight of her and the pokeblocks and stared. She waited,keeping her eyes locked with the pokemons eyes and finally,after several minutes,did it swim over and nuzzel her hand before taking the pokeblocks.

Several minutes after that Tabatha was walking away from the spot.She simply set Sable on top of the lapras and they both seemed not too mind for they started chattering in their own language. Since Rin hadn't handed Tabatha the water pokemons pokeball,she decided to come back later. Now off to search for the other two. After several minutes of walking she soon found her second target,the politoed. She watched as it sprayed a random person that passed by.They looked around with anger before storming off. She laughed and walked forward,wondering where exactly the pokemon would turn up,before she felt water soak her body 'Not again' she thought with a sigh. Zangoose growled a bit before looking at Tabatha with a look that said "Should I attack him,or are you going to do something". She grinned before pulling out another pokeblock.It did the trick and soon Tabatha was walking with the politoed wrapped in her arms.

She soon came upon a peculiar sight. A starmie lay beside Eve as the other pokemon that made up their trio ran around. Tabatha wasted no time and soon they were all of towards the center of the mystic pool again,hoping to spot Rin. Lucky enough she did,for the two pokemon raced towards their trainer with glee. She grinned before walking towards him and another girl. Tabatha didn't think much of it since she barely knew him,but when she got closer she did care a bit more. She was staring straight at Blaise the electric type gym leader.This was a surprise. "Well...hello there" Tabatha said with a small smile.

Blaise was distracted, trying to aim all her charm at Rin, but out of the corner of her eye she noticed the new trainer. A girl with long auburn hair and brown eyes; she was quite pretty. But that wasn't the problem - Blaise knew the look in the trainer's eyes: this girl was well aware that she was a gym leader.

Crap. She thought flatly. She was having fun, the last thing she wanted was people comprehending the fact that she was a powerful gym leader. And although this girl didn't look like the fan type, she could never be too sure. Not good, not good, not good. Disengaging her hand from Rin's she turned to face the newcomer. "Hello," she answered, hoping the girl wouldn't slip and reveal who she really was. "Who are you? A friend of Rin's?" Her voice was sweet, but underneath she was sending, or at least attempting to send, a girl-to-girl plea. 'Please don't tell him who I am.' she thought.

"Oh..." she suddenly realized, "Where are my manners? I'm Blaise Faust. I specialize in electric-type poke'mon. It's a pleasure to meet you, I'm sure." She beamed, but underneath she was ready to bolt the second someone called her gym name: Blaise Astelle.

(Just to make things clear; Blaise goes by Blaise Astelle as a gym leader. She doesn't use her last name because she doesn't want people to know who she really is. She has this whole thing with secrecy. She probably shouldn't have become a gym leader, but that point is moot.)
