APPEARANCE: She comes in at a height of 6"2. Nova is a tall finely tanned girl with deep set green eyes. Her face is like a delicate egg shape, where her dainty nose is set just below the center.Nova's dark eyebrows are set just above her eyes in finely shaped lines. Her skin is tough and rarely bruises. Her delicate pale red lips are situated in a permanent scowl. She has a lanky yet strong build, and she walks with long strides. When Nova stands still, she stands tall as if to show off her height. Her hair is long and black. She ussually leaves it down or puts it in a braid straight down her back. Her usual outfits consist of a dark brown tank top short, dull denim shorts and black sandals. She wears a beat up old heart shaped locket that doesn't open anymore. Nova carries around a black and blue draw string back pack where she keeps important stuff, like a light weight dress a friend forced her to bring for special occasions. She still carries it in there and she has no idea why. She also carries around a large guitar case where her old acoustic guitar stays when she isn't playing it.

PERSONALITY:
Nova has always had two set moods, grouchy and even more grouchy. She rarely smiles for anyone and focuses her energy on becoming the best out here. Full of witty remarks and a scowl, Nova tends to draw those troubled people to her, or those looking for a fight. She isn't above starting a fight if their is a good reason behind it. Her stubborn streak makes it hard for her to befriend others, so she is often times like a lone wolf. She actually likes being alone, she thinks its easier than being around others. Thats the excuse she uses to mask her fear of being hurt by people that she considers friends. Nova has a nasty temper that doesn't take much to set off. One good way to anger her is to use her full name or middle name, she hates her middle name. She can hold a grudge for a long time. Despite all her bad moods and nasty temper, Nova does have a sentimental side. That side of her is rarely seen, and only comes out when a pokemon or person she cares about is terribly injured. That thought alone would break her concentration on being stubborn and fill her with concern. It is very easy for a pokemon to befriend her unlike humans. She just finds pokemon easier to be around.

HISTORY: Nova was actually born in Lavender Town, but her family moved to Saffron City as soon as her mother could travel after the birth of Novamere. Her parents had both been, well drunk, when they named her. Thats one thing out of three that Nova resented about her family.

Nova's mother Rosaline was never one to sit still. She was always doing something. Be it training her Espeon and other pokemon or teaching Mariana and Nova things that weren't all that great for young kids. Despite that the three had a tight bond.

Nova had an even stronger bond with her mothers partner Eve the Espeon. She and Mariana were both devastated when her mother and pokemon just disappeared one day. That was when Nova was five. For days she cried, and cried. Mariana who was seven, grew a stubborn streak even more impressive than Nova's. Her mother leaving was the second thing she resented.

Their father was either drunk or out drinking. The two girls had to raise and take care of themselves. They both learned new skills. Nova learned how to sew and Mariana learned how to cook. Nova would fix their hand-me-downs while Mariana tried to keep them well fed.

Mariana grew more and more interested in traveling and learning how fully use her singing voice. Nova was forced to learn to play guitar. When Mariana was 16 she left, leaving Nova alone with their drunkard of a father. Nova grew to not trust anyone. 14 years old and she had not a single friend.

Three years after her sister left she got a post card from her. Mariana was traveling with their mother now, but she didn't say where. After that Nova periodically got letters from them. This angered her enough to hide the letters away and never read them. She still has them and keeps them tucked away in her guitar case.

When she was 18 her father decided to try and sober up. He grew more and more interested in trying to form a fatherly daughterly bond with the daughter who had yet to abandon him. When he finally gave up drinking altogether Nova thought her life would be normal.

At age 19 she became involved with Team Rocket. After 2 years she left not liking how the organization worked. For a while she just traveled. She forgot about her problems with her family and the Team Rocket members trying to hunt her. In order to get away from it all she finally traveled to Xato.
