APPEARANCE: Blaise is of average height, and below average weight. Her limbs are rather slender but her body is curvaceous; she has about a C-cup chest and a backside, not that she shows it off. She’s got a pretty high metabolism and she really just doesn’t eat much, which is mostly why she remains so slender. She also runs and lifts weight occasionally, so if she flexes you will see the slightest hint of muscle tone. Blaise’s most distinct feature is her eyes: they are bright gold, but darken to amber if she’s in a bad mood. Her hair is dark blue and as long as her rear end, she usually wears it down but sometimes she’ll pull it up into a high ponytail. Blaise has rather pale skin. It’s not that she doesn’t go out in the sun; she does….she just burns, and then is pale all over again. She is pretty, above average to say the least, and she knows it.
Blaise typically wears a dark blue dress that reaches her mid-thigh, knee high flat black leather boots, buckle up the side, black gloves, a black ribbon tied around her neck, an occasional sweater, a gold belt slung low on her hip with her pack, and a black woven belt slung low on opposite hip with poke’balls. She wears three rings on her right hand: sapphire, topaz, and lapis lazuli

WEAKNESSES: She is not a people person, she’s a sucker for cute things, she’ll get absorbed in a good book and read for hours on end, she goes on shopping binges, she doesn’t eat a lot and sometimes gets weak because of it, she doesn’t always know how to act around people

HABITS: She twists the rings on her right hand when she's bored, bothered, nervous, depressed, elated, or victorious. Her eyes show her emotion; when they're light, she's happy. When they're dark, she's pissed or upset. She has a tendency to hum songs when she thinks no one is listening. She jumps up and down when she’s excited. She also has a mild tendency of glomping the people she knows and loves.

FEARS: She can't swim well and has a fear of drowning, she hates earthquakes because she always wants to feel stable, she's claustrophobic, she has a fear of extreme heights because she thinks falling to her death would just be a sucky way to die

PERSONALITY: Blaise is atypical. She's often bored by life and the people around her. She finds amusement in books, poke'mon battles and proving her superiority. She is also somewhat of a tease; she knows she is beautiful, and likes trying to manipulate the people around her just as much as she can. She won’t try to hurt anyone; she’s just looking for entertainment. She doesn't like any particular type of boy; they're often all equally annoying. She does find powerful people interesting and attractive, but she'll still push their buttons as much as possible before backing off and taking them seriously.

She is both fascinated and terrified by lightning. It's a difficult feeling to explain. She loves the power of lightning, and how that power is focused into a single bolt with unbelievable potential, but she has also received the attacking end of a bolt, and the incident left her physically and emotionally scarred.

Blaise was born wealthy, and because of that she had a lot of people try to be her friends for the wrong reasons. Because of that she is skeptical of people when she first meets them. If she decides to trust a person she will open up completely; she is often energetic if she is with someone she is close to and trusts. If not she acts bored or withdrawn. She wants to appear calm and collected to strangers, when in reality she may be just the opposite. She is easily able to cast the illusion of appearing sweet and innocent, but underneath the mask she is capable of being extremely vicious. Her past is complicated and it has changed her from who she was as a child into who she is now as a gym leader.

FATHER: Felix Aurther Faust; currently fourty-seven; A scientist and chief chemist in the production of medicine for humans and poke'mon alike. He has never been able to forgive himself for not being able to save his wife.
SIBLINGS: Theo Matthew Faust; twenty-one; he is a poke'mon trainer, he specializes in ghost and dark types, and some electrical. He also works as a necromancer, though his intentions are unclear.

HISTORY: Blaise was born in a large mansion located in a remote forest of the Sinnoh region. She was born to Iirismira and Felix Faust. Her father was a billionaire in the medicine business, and was a very rational and scientific man. Her mother came from a small hometown and believed in ghosts and spirits, she was considered by many to be a witch.

Blaise has one sibling, and older brother by two and a half years; Theo. Theo was a good sibling, if not a slightly eccentric child. He often spoke to what he called 'his invisible friends' and was very antisocial. He typically only spoke to Blaise, and when he did he only talked of spirits and the possibility of controlling them. He was a very disturbed child and many people thought he had a negative impact on his sister. However Blaise was fascinated by the probabilities her brother presented.

Five years after giving birth to Blaise, Iirasmira began to show symptoms of a mysterious illness. She suffered fainting spells and hallucinated profusely. Felix did everything he scientifically could to try and save his wife, but in the end all his efforts failed. Iirasmira died two years after the initial appearance of her disease.The topaz, lapis lazuli, and sapphire rings that Blaise wears on her right hand are heirlooms from her mother.

Six months after her mother's death, when Blaise was finally beginning to heal emotionally, Theo presented a possibility that was completely insane; he told his sister of the possibility of resurrecting their mother using necromancy and black magic. Still weak and innocent, she agreed to help him. It was the biggest mistake of her life.

When they tried to call back their mother, the two accidentally brought back a vengeful spirit that tried to steal Theo's soul, and attacked Blaise. It grabbed both her arms and tried to devour her alive. In a miracle accident/blessing, twin lightning bolts shot down and blasted the spirit while it was still attached to her. The result was twin lightning bolt marks on the inside of her lower arms that refused to go away. Looking back she realized that just before the lightning bolts had appeared, she has seen a legendary poke'mon in her mind's eye; Raikou.

After the accident Blaise developed a deep resentment towards Theo; she didn't, couldn't trust him after what he'd brought her into. She left home with only one poke'mon; a gift from her mother, Shinx. The first poke'mon she caught was a pikachu that she raised into a raichu. For three years she travelled various regions, catching and training pokemon, and enjoying battles along the way. Volkner from the Sinnoh Region was her distant cousin. He pulled some strings and when she turned thirteen she became the gym leader at Hibana City. She has been the gym leader for four years, and it is definitely an occupation she enjoys.
