Marcy was walking down to the river. She had taken her long blonde hair out of its scrunchy and it flowed out behind her as the wind breezed past her in gentle gusts. Her bag was slung over one shoulder and she carried her sketchbook in one hand. Her other hand held a pencil that she would be using to sketch a picture of any pokemon she encountered. The shoulder opposite of her bag had a yellow lump slung over it. This was Marcy's partner Chu. The pikachu had fallen asleep during the walk over here. Once she was done drawing, Marcy planned to have a little waterside picnic with Chu and Pie.
Chu lifted her little yellow head and yawned. "Did you have a nice nap Chu?" Marcy asked with a quick glance at her pokemon. Chu nodded and looked around. Marcy smiled, "We're almost to the river you woke up at just the right time!"
The two stopped at the waters edge, "Oh its so pretty!" Marcy gasped looking at the crystal clear water fasinated. Chu jumped down to the ground from Marcy's shoulder and put one paw in the water curiously.

From under the water, the small horsea could feel a disturbance in the water. She swam up to where she saw a yellow paw feeling at the water. Curiously, she swam up and cocked her head to the side, her large mouth encircling around the paw and tightening a hold around it.

Chu struggled not to fall in the water. It let out a distressed cry, Pika Pi!" Marcy turned just in time to see her beloved pokemon fall into the water. "Oh no! Chu! I'm coming!" She wailed dropping everything and diving forward. She grabbed Chu and atempted to pull the distressed and flailing pikachu out of the water.
"Chu! you've eaten one to many cookies! Your getting heavy!" Marcy gasped. She had been unable to pull the pikachu out of the water the first try. She tried again with the same result. Taking a deep breath Marcy heaved upwards pulling Chu out of the water and the horsea along with the pikachu.
Marcy blinked a few times obviously surprised by the appearance of the horsea. "Where did you come from? she asked pry the pokemon off of chu's paw.

The horsea let go of the pikachu's paw with a soft 'pop' then hopped back into the water with a trill. She turned looked up at the trainer with wide eyes then to the pikachu with an apologetic gaze. She didn't like to scare anyone and if she was any more frightened, she might have swam away. But she stayed where she was and looked back and forth between them, curious as to what the human might do. At the first sign of danger, she could dive deep and away from the edge of the water easily and quickly.

Marcy quietly got out her sketchbook. She sat down on the ground by the river and studied the Horsea thoughtfully. [color="purple" "Don't worry about Chu, she'll be fine, you didn't startle her," she said than began sketching a picture of the water pokemon. "Oh, and sorry if i frightened you," She told the wild pokemon as she sketched. Chu snuffled around in Marcy's bag. First the pikachu let Pie out then the two of them dragged out the cookie bag.
MArcy looked at her two pokemon and laughed with her bell like laughter "Oh you two, good idea! Would you like a cookie too Horsea?" She asked taking the cookie bag from the pikachu and caterpie. She got out three cookies. She gave one to Chu, and one to Pie. She offered the third to the Horsea.
Wow, first Pie and now this Horsea, i sure am meeting alot of nice pokemon in this town! Marcy thought cheerfully and smiling.

The horsea looked questioningly at the cookie in the trainer's hand then into the eyes of the trainer. She wasn't sure exactly if she should take the cookie. What if it had some sort of pokedrug in it that knocked her out? At the thought, the horsea squeaked softly and backed up, unsure of the treat. She turned and watched the other two pokemon as they nibbled on their own cookies. She turned her head slightly to the left then looked back up at the smiling trainer and slowly inched forward to take the cookie from her hand. As soon as she took it, she swam away a couple of feet and swallowed it with a single gulp. Her eyes blinked as the sweetness made her turn and head back for another.

Marcy smiled at the Horsea. "You want another one i take it?" She said with a laugh. She got out another cookie and held it out for the horsea , "This is the last cookie sadly." She told the wild pokemon apologetically. Chu looked shocked to hear they were out of cookies. "Oh don't worry Chu,"Marcy said glancing at the pikachu, "i can make more later."
"Pika pi!" Chu said nodding her head, that made Marcy laugh. Pie finished her cookie and noticed Chu still had a little bit of cookie. She tottered over and ate the rest of Chu's cookie. "Chu pi pika pi!" Chu wailed. Te two pokemon started chasing each other in circles. Marcy watched them rolling her eyes good naturedly. She turned to look at the horsea again, "their normally like this so don't worry about it." she said cheerfully.

"Horsea?" she tilted her head as she watched the two chase each other. She looked up at the trainer and eyed the cookie, taking it happily as she lowered it to her. She ate it quickly then squealed in delight, accidentally shooting out a shot of water from her mouth out of her excitement. Once she realized what she did, she cried out apologetically and dipped herself under the water, looking up at the trainer from just under the water.

Marcy blinked in surprise. She then started laughing. "Don't feel bad little one! We all make mistakes!" She said peering down at the Horsea. The blonde girl was beaming with a smile that nearly stretched from ear to ear. She slowly held out a pòkeball to the water type. "would you like to come with me? I am not very good in Pokemon battles, but I could always try hard. I would make cookies more because you seem to like them." Marcy said honestly. She gazed at he small Pokemon hoping for the best.
Chu and Pie stopped chasing each other and watched. Chu scurried back to Marcy and hopped on her shoulder. The pikachu looked down at the Horsea questioningly. Pie squirmed and wriggled and it made its way to Marcy. The Caterpie settled down in the girls lap and fell asleep. Marcy glanced down at Pie, stifling a giggle.
