"Wow, Ursa, isn't everything just so pretty?" the girl cooed, skipping and hopping around happily. "I love it out here!"
"Teddi Teddiursa," the small Pokemon mumbled, walking along slowly as it looked at it's surroundings.
"Oh, stop being such a scardy-Meowth!" the girl giggled, stopping to let the poor bear catch up. "Everything's so nice out! How can you not love it?"
The bear merely kept walking, eyes having some sort of fear in them from just being out in the open. Lily had become used to it; ever since he hatched from the egg her mother gave her, he'd been scared about everything. But then again, coddling him probably was not the best thing to do to aid him in becoming less scared of everything. She was hoping to find another Pokemon to befriend, as so Ursa could just become her travel partner and not have to battle - because she was sure that he'd have a heart attack if he ever had to be in one - or train. It might have been crazy or stupid to do, but she didn't care! She loved Pokemon, but she had to admit that she loved her starter most of all.
"C'mon, silly!" Lilly giggled again, turning and going deeper into the field once the Teddiursa got close enough. The Pokemon still seemed worried, though he tried not to run after his trainer; the grass getting taller and taller as he went deeper in.

The Spinarak's legs moved slowly through the tall grass. Cautiously he picked his way through the greenery, his large eyes eyeing over every blade and rock me passed. It was a nice day; the sun was out, the air was crisp, and the forest was alive with the small chirps of the other pokemon around him. He perked up slightly as he saw a human and her Teddiursa wondering through his grass. With a small clicking sound, he scuttled behind them and followed for a short time before shooting a small stream of string shot at the human's heal to get her attention.

Her day might have gone better, had there not been a mass of webbing launched at her head. She had heard the creature stirring before anything else, and had stopped to see what it was - only to get a face full of webbing, which was not something she liked.
"Eeek!" was the bloodcurdling scream of a response. Lily instantly began running around blindly, trying to run around and pull the 'vile' stuff off, all the while shouting frantically, "Get it off, get it off!"
Ursa stood watching curiously, trying to keep his distance away from the other Pokemon and hoping that it wouldn't come anywhere near him. If something spewed from the spider made his trainer unhappy, then he obviously wouldn't like it either.
Finally, the girl tripped up near the bear, landing on her front. She was huffing and puffing, and it took a bit before she finally moved. She pushed herself up to her knees, and finally managed to pull off the webbing. If her expression had anything to go by, she wasn't happy. Looking around, she finally spotted the Pokemon that had done this to her, and she glared.
"Hey, what was that for?" she asked, obviously not amused or happy. Ursa, of course, scuttled behind his trainer, peeking around at the other Pokemon silently.

The Spinarak cocked his head to the side. Its bright black eyes continued to stare unblinkingly at the human before it glanced down at the pokemon hiding behind her leg.
"Spinnn-k" it clicked at her and scuttled a bit closer. It gazed back up at her then spat a thin web over the Teddiusa's face before he quickly climbed up the trainer's leg and up her body to perch himself a top of her head away from the pokemon. It seemed almost playful. He wanted the human away from his grass, but that didnt mean he couldn't play with her or her pokemon first.

"Ursa!" the bear like Pokemon cried as it was hit it a string of webbing.
He stumbled backwards, landing on his rump as he tried to tear at the webbing on his face. Luckily, there wasn't much; it came off more gently than he'd thought, though it still made him look as he if were about to cry; looking up at his trainer and the Pokemon on her head sadly. He was often afraid of others, but he did not like playing mean like this Spinirak was. Like his trainer was having much fun, either; squealing as the spider crawled up her leg and onto her head. She wasn't enjoying it, trying not to grab at it and throw it off in case it decided to attack her or something.
"Ew, what are doing on my head?!" the girl half squealed to the spider, and she almost expected it to respond in human speech. "Ehehe, can you get off my head?"

He cocked his head to the side and clicked at her in response, shooting out a web up into a nearby tree, then a line to the web for him to quickly climb up to it, spinning to face her and the little pokemon beside her.
It spat out another web at her feet with a small sound like a mix between a coo and a growl. Its pincers tapped together, making another kind of clicking sound as he attached himself to the web and drop half way down from the tree, hanging only by the thread.

What was wrong with this Pokemon? Was it trying to play? Must have been, or otherwise it would have figured out that she was mad with it. Most Pokemon knew when she was mad or upset. But then again, most Pokemon she knew weren't wild Pokemon; they were usually trained Pokemon. And the better part of them were one of her parents Pokemon. She really hadn't met many others besides them, to be honest, and she didn't know weather to laugh at this, or keep being mad at it.
"Well," she muttered, poking at the little creature's back, "you are kinda cute."
"Teddi Teddiursa?" her companion ask, looking up at her with confusion. "Ursa Teddiursa!"
"Yeah, I said it was cute!" she pouted. "So what?"

At the trainer's poke, the Spinarak let out a soft cooing squeak and squirmed slightly on the string keeping him on the tree. Many had mistaken the sound as a cry, but to him, it was almost like his giggle. His back tickled, especially right in the center where she poked.
After he settled down a bit, he turned his head and looked at the human. Originally, he only wanted her out of his grass, but now he decided he liked to play with her. She was the only one who he had met that had not run away screaming. Sure she had screamed, but at least she was still here.
"Arrrak" He clicked and dropped to the forest floor and took a few steps towards her with a tilt of his head.

The Teddiursa had to admit, he had expected his trainer to run by now. She was not fond of bug-type Pokemon, if any of her previous talks had anything to go by. Maybe if this one was bigger or something, she might have ran. But he didn't want to think of running into a bigger Pokemon; he might of had to fight, and he did not like fighting, not one bit. It was lucky that this one didn't want to fight, then. So maybe he was rather lucky, then?
"Well, you're a nice one, aren't you?" Lily asked, squatting down and patting the bug on the head. It was sort of sticky, but hopefully she could get it off; otherwise, that would be just gross! "See, Ursa? He's nice!" she said to the bear happily.
"Teddiursa," was his reply, peering around his trainer and showing that he still obviously didn't like the bug fully. Lily merely giggled before looking back to the bug with a smile.
"Say," the girl chirped, "since you're nice and all, how 'bout coming with us? I'm sure we could use someone like you traveling with us!" Reaching around, she got into her bag and pulled out a Pokeball. "All you'd have to do is get in one of these! Don't worry, though, you probably won't be in it much!"

The Spinarak squealed in delight. He had never throught he would ever want to be caught, but seeing as this trainer was kind enough to not run away screaming, he thought it was worth a chance. He shuffled a but closer and tapped the pokeball with his forehead, the pokeball taking him in immediately.

He also loves to sleep outside of his pokeball in a web he makes high up in trees.

"Yay!" Lillian squealed, leaping to her feet with excitment. "I caught a Pokemon! I caught a Pokemon! Does it count if we didn't battle it? Oh well, I caught a Pokemon!"
Ursa watched her with confusion as she jumped up and down happily, holding the Pokeball in her hands. So this was a good thing? He guessed. There was a new Pokemon on the team, so maybe he didn't have to battle? He really didn't like the thought of battling, really. It almost scared him.
"Ursa? Teddi Teddiursa!" said the small Pokemon, drawing his trainer out of her excited little dance. If you could call it that.
"Oh, that's right!" she said with a squeak. "We should probably get to the next town before it gets too late!"
Lillian put the Pokeball on her belt hastily before bending over and picking up her small Pokemon to hold in her arms, who obliged by it happily. Looking around, the girl made her way out of the clearing and hopefully on the right path out.
